# Strongbox You can also find strongboxes. These enigmatic chests guard piles of treasure, but are always a trap. Monsters lie in wait to attack you the moment that you open it, and the boxes often have mechanisms to unleash powerful spells or dangerous debuffs. There are different types of strongboxes containing different items, and you can even use your currency items to craft them on the fly so you can optimize the contents. But be careful of opening one that you can't handle. ## Unique Strongbox ##### [[Ogham's Legacy]] The Ogham's Legacy Strongbox has a corpse splayed out in-front of the rune-carved stone. Upon interacting with the stone you activate forbidden Ezomyte magic which revives the monster as a powerful Rare. The Strongbox comes with a modifier which determines how many times it will revive that Rare. Each time you defeat the monstrosity, the Strongbox revives it again adding an extra modifier to the monster. With each resurrection it becomes more difficult but also more rewarding. ##### [[Ixchel's Torment]] This Strongbox is infused with thaumaturgy from ancient Vaal Technology. Ixchel's Torment has a powerful artefact inside and is guarded by Chaos itself. Defeating the monsters will grant you a Unique Item with a specific Corrupted outcome.
