Remember to use flasks ({1-2} on the keyboard).
Boss Checkpoints and Waypoints will refill your flasks as well as replenishing your life, energy shield, and mana.
Dying in an area will send you back to your most recent checkpoint, respawning all enemies.
Flask Charges are recovered in combat by slaying Enemies. Magic, Rare and Unique enemies grant progressively more Charges.
Instances reset after being empty for 8-15 minutes, destroying any connected Portals.
The more modifiers an item has, the more {Gold} it will sell for.
Players in the same party will join the same areas.
Press {Spacebar} to Dodge Roll.
You can assign your skills to a specific weapon set in the Skills Panel (G).
Hold {Shift} to attack from your current location.
Waypoints can be used to travel quickly between some areas.
Flasks on your belt refill when you kill Monsters, refilling more from more powerful Monsters.
To use a {scroll} or {orb}, {right click} it then {left click} the target item.
Hold {Shift} and click a stack of items to unstack them.
Never tell anyone your password.
{Skill Gems} can be leveled up with the use of an Uncut Skill Gem.
Remember to return to a {Well} to refill your flasks and replenish your Life and Mana.
Partying with other players makes enemies harder and gives more rewards.
You can change your key bindings in the {Options} menu.
You can move the overlay map around using the {arrow keys}.
Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
The Hooded One can help you by identifying your items.
Monsters that deal cold damage can freeze you.
Lightning damage can shock you, increasing damage taken.
Fire damage can ignite targets, causing them to burn for extra damage.
Holding your highlight key (default: {Alt}) will show items on the ground, and pressing {Z} will toggle always displaying items.
Activating a new {Waypoint} is a way of saving your exploration through Wraeclast.
Track your current quests in the world map by pressing {U}.
Hold {Alt} while viewing items in your inventory to compare them with their equipped counterpart.
Hold {Ctrl} and click area transitions and waypoint icons to forcibly create new instances of areas.
Dodge Rolling can be done during almost any other action.
After being {Stunned} or {Frozen}, both you and enemies are more resistant to being {Stunned} or {Frozen} again.
Some items can grant you specific skills when wielded.
Repeatedly damaging enemies can cause them to be {Stunned}.
Culling strike will instantly kill {Normal}, {Magic}, {Rare} and {Unique} enemies below 30%, 20%, 10% and 5% Maximum Life respectively.
Vendors will have new items when you gain a level, be sure to check them.
Many Unique bosses can grant permanent buffs for defeating them.
Larger enemies can push you around if you get in their way.
Once you have set up an Item Filter, you can press {Z} to view all items.
Many melee attacks will gap-close to nearby enemies if you're not quite close enough.
Energy Shield will begin recharging after 4 seconds without taking damage.
Herald skills are a kind of Spirit reservation that grant various bonuses to Attack skills.
{Right-click} a {Skill Gem} to open the Skill Gems panel.
{Uncut Skill Gems} can be used to either upgrade existing socketed {Skill Gems} or create new ones.
Attribute Requirements for your {Support Gems} are separate from those of your {Skill Gems} and {Equipment}.
Items can be {Disenchanted} at some Vendors in Town, granting Currency Shards in return.
You can customise key bindings via the {Input} tab in the {options menu}.
Gold is useful in shops and also to respec your character.
{Right-click} an Uncut Skill Gem to craft it in a Skill Gems panel.
Spend your skill points in the Passive Skill Tree to improve your character's chance of survival.
You can allocate Spirit reserves via the {Skills} menu to activate Auras and spawn Minions.
Spirit reserves can be allocated per weapon set via the {Advanced Info} panel for an equipped skillgem.
Assign your purchased skill cosmetics from your {Skills} menu using {Ctrl + Shift Left-click} on an assign skill.
Hold Spacebar after Dodge Rolling to go into a Sprint!
Only one copy of any given {Skill Gem} can be socketed at a time.
{Desecrated} items can be Revealed at the {Well of Souls} in Act Two.
{Rogue Exiles} defeated near an {Abyss} will be revived with powerful modifiers!
Right click on the weapon set numerals to use the same weapon in both weapon sets.
Elemental Resistances are vital to your survival. Don't neglect them!
Each animal form provides passive benefits, detailed in their keywords.
Characters wanting to mix Attacks and Spells will benefit greatly from Weapon Set Passive Skill Points.
Shapeshifting into an animal form requires a {Talisman}, but can be done on any character class.
Cutting a level 3 or higher {Skill Gem} will unlock the ability to shapeshift into a Wyvern using a Talisman.
