Conquerors of Wraeclast
The Story is Complete
Experience the complete campaign in Path of Exile 2's full release, with the addition of Acts 5 and 6.
Return to an Oriath ravaged by countless disasters. Make your way through the horrors that await and put an end to the Twilight Order and the Beast once and for all.
Explore Oriath
Together, Act 5 and 6 have 24 distinct areas to explore. From the twisted slums and opulent estates to the Temple District and the Grand Arena, each area brings something unique to discover.
Encounter New Bosses
Face 18 new unique bosses, with multiple phases, deadly abilities, and challenging fights. In addition, discover over 20 new Champion Rare encounters, each with its own mechanics and surprises.
New Class: The Shadow
The Shadow lurks unseen, using daggers, traps, and shades to bring down his foes. A descendant of the Perandus lineage, the Shadow once relied on his father’s wealth to save his life. Now, he owes a debt to the dark god Prospero, whose favour always comes at a price.
Become the Darkness
The Shadow introduces Stealth, an entirely new mechanic in Path of Exile 2 unlike any stealth mechanic you've seen before. It's fast and deadly.
While in Stealth, monsters can't see you until you get within a short distance of them. Enshroud yourself in darkness, dash towards your target, and strike hard!
Being in the shadows also empowers your dagger skills, granting them a range of additional bonuses, from triggering poison explosions to creating shadow clones that distract your enemies.
Set Up a Perfect Ambush
In addition to daggers, the Shadow wields another new weapon type: Traps.
Prepare your traps while in stealth, then trigger them automatically as you strike. Traps explode in the order they were thrown, allowing you to set up the perfect combo!
Each trap can interact with at least three others in unique ways, offering a huge variety of possible combinations.
Shadow Ascendancies
On release, the Shadow will have two Ascendancy Classes.
Ascendancy: The Assassin
The Assassin delivers deaths to his targets before they ever lay eyes on him. One contract at a time, he repays his debt to Prospero in blood.
Ascendancy: The Infiltrator
The Infiltrator is a master thief who has stolen many of Wraeclast's best-kept secrets. But when he happens on an artefact that can help with his own nefarious ends, he keeps it for himself.
New Class: The Duelist
The Duelist learned to wield a blade in the brutal arenas of Oriath. Raised in the slums, he entered the arena to seek vengeance and bring justice to the fighters who abused their power. A skilled swordsman, he relies on speed, precision, and well-timed strikes to overwhelm his opponents.
Master of Stances
Stances are a new mechanic in Path of Exile 2 that the Duelist masterfully utilises in battle.
Use Ready Stance to empower your sword skills, enhancing each of them in different ways! From intimidating cries and deadly slashes to giant drills, it lets you flow seamlessly from one ability to the next, giving sword combat a truly unique feel.
Blood and Sand
Unlock even deadlier combinations by upgrading Ready Stance.
Stun your enemies to enter Sand Stance and unleash sand disks across the battlefield. Parry attacks to switch to Blood Stance and make your enemies bleed with every hit. Both stances enhance your sword skills, allowing you to deal devastating damage.
Duelist Ascendancies
In 1.0, we are introducing two Ascendancy Classes for Duelist.
Ascendancy: The Master-at-Arms
The Master-at-Arms has dedicated his life to his craft, becoming an expert in a thousand forms of combat. Whatever the fight, he has the skills and the weaponry to prevail.
Ascendancy: The Knight
The Knight leads his followers to glory from the front lines. Charge through your enemies, inspire your allies, claim the battleground and uphold your honour.
New League - Conquerors of Wraeclast
In the Conquerors of Wraeclast Challenge League, join Varek and his mercenaries and conquer Wraeclast!
Explore the new endgame storyline and prevent the awakening of the ancient Blood Lord. Rescue new allies, locate enemy fortifications, deploy your troops on the battlefield, and lead your army to victory.
Raise an Army
Build your ranks by recruiting skilled warriors to stand against the enemy army.
Each unit has its own strengths and weaknesses, so choose your troops carefully. Once the battle begins, support your army by pushing into the enemy's back line and taking down their strongest fighters!
Plan Carefully
As you progress through the Campaign, you'll discover over 70 new points of interest, offering opportunities to recruit troops and take on unique missions.
With over 20 new missions to fight during the campaign, you'll be defending villages, assaulting forts, and breaking down enemy gates. Know your enemy, position your troops, and plan your strategy to overcome each encounter.
Build Your Stronghold
In the endgame, join Varek in establishing a stronghold for your growing army. Choose between three factions, each with its own style of fortress and unique troops to recruit.
Build barracks, taverns, archery ranges, and even housing for cultists to attract new fighters to your cause. With over 20 buildings and upgrades for each faction, watch your stronghold grow from a humble hamlet into a mighty fortress.
Reforge Your Items
Conquer castles to uncover their treasury rooms. Alongside piles of gold and useful items, you'll often find a new type of crafting material that lets you reforge your gear.
Use it to replace unwanted modifiers with random fractured modifiers which are then locked onto the item even when doing other crafts.
The Blood Lord's Promise
Uncover dark secrets of the ancient Sanguar bloodline in a new endgame storyline. Drive back those who seek to invoke the Blood Lord’s pact. Siege the stronghold of the Sanguar and prevent the awakening of a colossal evil.
Automate Your Atlas
In Conquerors of Wraeclast, we're introducing a new real-time endgame system that lets you delegate Atlas progression to your own commanders.
Assign your commander with troops and Waystones, and they'll send their army to clear maps and collect the rewards.
As your stronghold grows, you can recruit up to three commanders to explore the Atlas, complete Towers, or hunt for specific rewards using Tablets.
Conquer Wraeclast
But that's not all! We're adding a new global feature available to everyone who has completed the endgame storyline.
Team up with all the other players in your chosen faction to conquer Wraeclast! There are over 100 castles to siege across the league. Capture a castle from another faction to gain various benefits, including increased item rarity and access to special maps with rewarding modifiers. In addition, any castle held by your faction can serve as a launching point for exploring the Atlas.
New and Reworked Unique Items
The 1.0 Full Release introduces over 40 new Unique Items and revamps more than 70 existing ones with improved modifiers, skills, and visuals, making finding Unique Items a much more rewarding experience.
New Skill Gems and Support Gems Rework
We’re introducing new skills for a few classes that were missing them. Charge your mace with power from the molten forge and unleash fiery slams, or extract the souls of your enemies to deal significantly more damage!
We’ve also massively rebalanced Support Gems, improving recommendations, making damage types more adaptable to the skills they support, and buffing a wide range of underperforming gems to make them much more useful.
Passive Skill Tree Rework
The Passive Skill Tree has received a major makeover, with the addition of hundreds of new stats. We’ve also moved all Jewel Sockets into the clusters, so now you can consider which clusters your build really needs instead of going after every Jewel Socket.
Improvements to Existing Classes
Some existing classes and Ascendancy Classes have received important reworks. Here are just a few examples.
The Mercenary
The fundamental way reloading works on the Mercenary has been changed.
You can now reload ammunition in the background while using other ammo types, making it much faster and easier to switch between them.
The Infernalist Ascendancy
The Infernalist has a new demonic minion that can cast any spell it is given, can now have up to three Infernal Hounds, and has new Covenant skills that let you make deals with the Demon Lords in exchange for various benefits at the cost of a sacrifice.
The Blood Mage Ascendancy
The Corrupted Blood mechanic has been reworked, making affected enemies take double damage from all sources and consuming the corruption. The Blood Mage also has new skills and curses, allowing you to unleash tides of stored blood, turn enemies into your minions, and create tendrils of blood to corrupt your enemies.
The Acolyte of Chayula Ascendancy
The Acolyte of Chayula can now summon a companion that can use any Quarterstaff skill. You can also sacrifice your own life to transfer your soul into your clone, causing your old body to explode.
