Exposure
Exposure is a type of Debuff that lowers the affected enemy's Total Elemental Resistances. By default it lowers Resistances by -20% and lasts for 4 seconds, though some sources of exposure can override these values. Like most sources of lowering Resistances, this can cause the enemy's Resistance to become negative.

Higher Rarity enemies are less affected by Exposure:

15% less Exposure effect on Magic monsters
30% less Exposure effect on Rare monsters
50% less Exposure effect on Unique monsters

Enemies in your Presence have Exposure

Create a pulsing Orb of frost. Each pulse inflicts Elemental Exposure on nearby enemies. When the Orb's duration ends, it Detonates, dealing Cold damage to surrounding enemies and leaving behind a Cold Infusion.
Fire a bouncing Grenade that bursts in a spray of Oil when the fuse expires or when it impacts an Enemy, dealing minimal damage but covering the ground and nearby enemies in Oil. Oil created this way can be Ignited by Detonator Skills or Ignited Ground.
Consume charges from your Mana Flask to throw a flask that explodes, dealing Cold Attack damage in an area and inflicting Exposure.
Supports any skill that Hits enemies, causing it to inflict Exposure when Igniting.
Supports any skill that Hits enemies, causing it to inflict Exposure when inflicting Shock.
Supports any skill that Hits enemies, causing it to inflict Exposure when it Critically Hits an enemy.
Summon Ruzhan, an invulnerable Flame Djinn Minion, to do your bidding. Ruzhan emerges to Strike enemies with his greatsword whenever you use a damaging Skill, and casts devastating Fire Spells when Commanded to do so.
Supports Skills which apply Exposure to Enemies, increasing the effect of applied Exposure.
Supports Banner Skills, causing Enemies within their area to gain Refractive Dissolution, a Debuff which lowers Elemental Resistances.
Shapeshift into a Wyvern and spit Oil at enemies, creating Oil Ground where the Projectiles land. Consumes Power Charges if possible to instead Channel a sustained barrage of electrified Oil that does not create Oil Ground. Projectiles are fired in sequence, allowing multiple Projectiles to Hit the same target.
Supports Warcries. Supported Skills apply Exposure on Hitting enemies.

Ignited Ground or Detonator Skills will Ignite Oil-covered enemies. This removes the Oil, but the Exposure will remain for the duration of that Ignite.
Oil Ground
Enemies standing in Oil Ground have their movement speed Slowed and are inflicted with Exposure.

Ignited enemies, Ignited Ground, or Detonator Skills that touch the Oil cause it to catch fire, Igniting enemies instead of Slowing them, but still inflicting the Exposure.
